HOT EMBOSSING (embossing a caldo)

♥Cosa ci serve per realizzarla:

-un embosser o heat gun (un normale phon da capelli non va bene)

-un tampone per embossing (contiene una sostanza che incolla) 

-cartoncino colorati di grammatura di 250-300 gr

- della polvere colorata per embossing

-dei timbri silicone o di legno

La polvere di embossing è formata da alcune particelle che con il calore della pistola ad aria calda si sciolgono e rimangono attaccate all'inchiostro.

♥Tip: quando andiamo a intingere il timbro nel tampone dobbiamo applicare con velocità la polvere da embossing prima che si asciughi. Possiamo aiutarci con un foglio bianco che andiamo a mettere sotto il nostro lavoro e possiamo togliere la polvere in eccesso,  così evitiamo gli sprechi e rimettiamo la polvere avanzata nel contenitore.

Si può utilizzare anche un tampone ad asciugatura lenta (tipo Distress) al posto del tampone per embossing in questo caso partiremo già con un tampone colorato e non avremo bisogno di stendere rapidamente la polvere da embossing.

HOT EMBOSSING

Hot embossing is a basic scrapbooking technique that is widely used and allows you to create colorful and three-dimensional effects.

What we need to create it:

-an embosser or heat gun (a normal hair dryer is not good)

-embossing buffer (contains glue) 

-colored cardboard of 250-300 gr

-colored powder for embossing

-silicone or wooden stamps

The embossing powder is formed by some particles that with the heat of the air hot gun melt and remain attached to the ink.

♥Tip: when we go to dip the stamp in the pad we must apply the embossing powder with speed before it dries. We can help ourselves with a white sheet that we go to put under our work and we can remove the excess,  so we avoid waste and put back the leftover powder in the container.

You can also use a slow-drying pad (type Distress) instead of the embossing pad.
